Mist works (2004)
installation
Installation works. Video and still images are projected through a mist-filled space, immersing the viewer inside the works, which are negotiated in 3D space.
Floating In Between The video of a projected earth/sky (water/air) boundary hovers as a mirage, an illusion of moving water and air formed by light seen through water droplets floating in air.
Presence Almost tangible piercing light beams appear one by one, gradually enveloping the viewer in a cocoon of light. --> view clip (6.5MB)
Journey A sequence of projected photographs forms an evolving progression of complex, transient light forms and negative spaces. --> view clip (13.6MB)
